Facial acupuncture & Skincare - a special talk and demonstration 02 Nov 7pm
We are hosting a special talk and demonstration on facial
acupuncture, Chinese medicine and skincare.
We have teamed up with Graeme McCracken to offer you professional advice on cosmetic facial acupuncture, the most sought after natural non-surgical facelift available today. Graeme will talk through the treatment and demonstrate how it works, using the finest steel needles and the added benefits when combined with infrared therapy. The process
slows down the ageing process, leaving the skin and muscles plump with a more youthful effect.
During the talk, Graeme will be happy to answer any questions from clients. On future dates Graeme will be speaking about other topics such as:
a)Nutrition for children. Chinese Medicine’s nutritional approach to monitoring children’s weight through food: looking at common diets through the lens of Chinese Medicine.
b) Chinese Medicine. Discussion on the theory and treatments.
c)Infertility. The use of acupuncture to aid conception with or without
In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF).
d)10 ways to reduce stress.
Sophia Woods will give demonstrations and skincare advice on the amazing effect of Skin Needling. This method provides amazing results with a safe and simple treatment. Skin Needling is the latest skin renewal technique to restore the healthy youthful appearance of your skin producing similar results to Dermabrasion, Lasers and Deep Chemical Peels, but is much less invasive. As a result the healing time is significantly shorter and there is no post treatment skin sensitivity to UV light. Delicate areas around the eyes, mouth and neck can be treated. We use sterile titanium micro-needles which have a finer edge eliminating excess irritation and reducing pain. Exposure to environmental elements like sunlight, smoke, and air pollution causes photo-aging in skin. Skin Needling has an amazing effect on photo-aging skin. To compliment this treatment, we offer the latest development anti-ageing products backed by medical science to protect against UVA damage and correct damage already caused by UV light. This treatment will tackle:
a)Wrinkles and lines.
b)Lack of skin firmness and elasticity.
c)Scarring from such as acne and chicken pox scars.
d)Enlarged pores.
e)Sun damage.
f)Under-eye bags.

Eye creams that reveals the radiance and beauty of your eyes
There are so many questions....Do they work? Are they really necessary? Will normal moisturiser not do?
The fact is the first signs of ageing appear around the eyes. The eye area has the most delicate and thin skin, it does not have sebaceous glands therefore becomes dehydrated and crepy much quicker than the rest of the face.
What you should know.... is that using your daily moisturiser around your eyes is not acceptable. It is much too heavy and will cause dragging and possible clogging which can result in puffiness. Over a prolonged period of time the skin will stretch and you will have fabulous fine lines.
So I now move on to what you should be using.. eyecream/eye serums, they are specailly desiged to stay put where you apply them and that is around the eye not into the eye.
Anti ageing eye products should be used from the age of 25 years to slow down the onset of potential fine lines and wrinkles... not forgetting squinting this is a crime and you should have your eyes tested to
avoid such side effects from squinting.
As a facialist with many years experience in the beauty industry, I get excited when I come across a product/s that really do make a difference. I list below two recommendations and hope you enjoy the experience as much as I do.
AOX+ eye gel - a triple antioxidant treatment with vitamin c, phloretin and fleruic to combat signs of photoageing and fatigue. It protects the delicate eye area from photoageing, reducts wrinkles, under-eye bags and improves skin tone, light gel texture instantly invigorates to restore and revive the appearance to fatigued eyes.
Cle des Champs eye treatment - using extracts of ginkgo biloba, an antioxidant which improves ciruculation and works hard against the signs of ageing, making skin brighter and soft. A cream that reveals the radiance and beauty of your eyes.
The above products come highly recommended and can be used on their own or combined am/pm treatment for the ultimate boost to the eyes, they are avaialble at the White Room, Knightsbridge.
Call in for a complimentary consultation and see what I can do to help you look your very best.
